What is the Merold Institute of Ministry?
Practical experience and research demonstrate that the effectiveness of the church rises and falls on leadership. Good and effective churches generally have good and effective leaders. Nearly half of American churches are declining while a quarter are plateaued. Nine out of ten churches that experience revitalization (moving from declining or plateaued to growing over a sustained period) list leadership development as a significant contributing factor to their revitalization. My favorite part of the Merold Institute was learning about the history of the Bible. The classes were challenging are required a lot of reading but I learned so much that it was worth every minute of my time. I have been able to share some of the things I learned in our Lifegroup classes and in conversation with both Christian and non- Christian friends.
